Eurobeat Stars Les Dennis & Mel Giedroyc to host Showtime Challenge

Me & My Girl

Celebrities Les Dennis and Mel Giedroyc, who are currently starring as leads in the hit West End musical Eurobeat, will guest host the third 48-hour Showtime Challenge – Me and My Girl at the London Palladium on Sunday 26 October, 7.30pm.

But this is no ordinary production. The show is going to be rehearsed, staged, costumed, choreographed, lit, constructed and performed, all in only 48 hours. And all to support The Anthony Nolan Trust.

Les Dennis commented “ When I did Me and My Girl in the West End it was one of the most exciting ventures of my career. I’m thrilled to be involved in it again. Especially as it is benefitting such a great charity as the Anthony Nolan Trust”.

Mel Giedroyc added“ I had to get involved with this because I had to see it to believe it! I’m happy to be haring the stage with my co-star from Eurobeat, the legend that is Les Dennis. I’m delighted to be supporting the Anthony Nolan Trust”.

Thousands of people applied to take part in Showtime Challenge. The 48-hour challenge means that people with all sorts of careers and busy lifestyles can get involved because it does not include lengthy rehearsal periods.

Organised by Eyebrow Productions, this is the third Showtime Challenge production. Following the success of 'Sweet Charity' performed last year in Drury Lane, this show promises to be even bigger and raise vital funds for The Anthony Nolan Trust.

It’s certainly going to be a challenge!
