Smithills Hall dates back to the 14th century and is a Grade 1 listed building, set in a 2,000 acre estate.There has been a lot of paranormal activity reported at Smithills Hall. In the Great Hall, a strong, cold breeze whooshes past people and blows tablecloths. Many people have had their bottoms pinched! A lady in 17th century has also been seen on the stairs, while many have smelt burning wood in the Bower Room.The spirit of a small boy with long dark curly hair has been felt in the solar room and people walk past the window of the drawing room.In the Church, a grey lady has been seen sitting in the front pew, a figure has been seen kneeling at the altar and orbs and strange lights have been caught on camera.
Your challenge is to spend the night in the foreboding atmosphere, to hold seances, learn to develop your psychic abilities and keep vigil for any paranormal activity. Our celebrity medium, Ian Lawman, will spend the whole evening with us and will commentate on any spirit energies that are encountered. Ian, know as the ‘bad boy’ of the psychic world, has starred on Living TV’s 'Most Haunted' and 'Famous and Frightened'.
