Fright Night with Simon Bacon

Location: Newtongrange, Nr Edinburgh
Date: Friday 21 and Saturday 22 November 2009 – 8pm to 4am
Are you prepared to be spooked?
Scotland’s “Black Diamonds” were mined at The Lady Victoria Colliery since it opened in the 1890’s.The complex closed in 1981 and is now The Scottish Mining Museum one of the finest examples of a restored Victorian Colliery in Europe.
Have you the nerve to spend the night at the pit head or underground at the coal face where the spirits of Mungo Mackay the much-feared general manager of the Lothian Coal Company and Jock Kane the headless miner still haunt the mine. And later....keep vigil for any paranormal activity and any spirit energies that are encountered with The Borders Paranormal Group...if you dare!
