Crewe Hall Fright Night

Crewe Hall

Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Date: Saturday 7 March 2009 – 10pm to 5am

The Anthony Nolan Trust is pleased to offer you a fundraising event with a difference. Dare you spend the night inside this haunted hall?

Crewe Hall dates back to 1615 and was the home of the Crewe family until the Marques of Crewe sold the property in 1936. The hall has seen some turbulent times and in 1866 was nearly burnt to the ground after a timber from the fireplace caused a fire in the main part of the building. During the war overseas troops were housed at the hall before it became a prisoner of war camp for high ranking German officers.

A lady has been seen wandering on the main staircase of the hall, staff have seen her watching people and then she simply disappears. Staff often complain of the feeling of being followed on certain corridors. They turn round and no one is there.

Your challenge is to spend the night in the foreboding atmosphere of the hall to hold séances and keep vigil for any paranormal activity. Join our spiritualist medium who will commentate on any spirit energies that are encountered. There will also be experienced guides on hand, as well as activities throughout the night.

The entry fee covers the cost of staging the event. This ensures that all sponsorship raised supports our lifesaving work.

Entry Fee: £15 per person (£45 per team of 4)
Minimum Sponsorship: £125 per person
