Cord blood for research

Dr A. Pagliuca King's College Hospital Clinical Director with donating mothersThe Anthony Nolan Trust Cord Blood Programme is the UK’s first charitable Cord Blood Bank and integrated Research Institute. As well as collecting cord blood for haematopoietic transplant, we will use samples for our research and make it available to the UK Research Community.

We anticipate that cord blood will become available to the wider UK Research Community in 2009.
