Fundraising volunteering

Help us take back lives from leukaemia by volunteering for The Anthony Nolan Trust. You can give as much or as little time as you choose. It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, have fun and get satisfaction from knowing you are helping. We need to raise over £18 million a year to fund the charity’s lifesaving work.

That’s why we continually rely on the public’s support to raise money.

Take part in an Anthony Nolan Challenge.

Take part in one of our hundreds of fantastic fundraising challenges that take place across the UK (and overseas!). Abseil, run, cycle or walk; enjoy a bit of glamour at one of our fabulous balls and dinner dances; or, if you fancy something different, come along to a spooky fright night.

Help at a fundraising challenge

We’re always looking for volunteers who can spare a day to help at our events. We need people to register participants and marshal routes

Join (or set up) an Anthony Nolan Friends Group

Meet like-minded people and have fun. Our Friends Groups organise small fundraising events, give talks about our work and raise our profile in their communities.

Organise your own fundraising challenge. You can organise your own activity. We’ll provide you with advice and support. Our volunteers have run curry nights, belly dancing competitions, picnics, sponsored leg/head/chest shaves. Involve your family, friends and work colleagues, and have a great time.

Find out more information on how to organise your own event by clicking here.

To support you in your volunteering we will:

• send you the charity’s latest news

• put you in touch with our local fundraising manager

• tell you about our fundraising activities in your area

• offer you ideas and materials to support your activities

To find out more, please contact Lorna Diplacito in our Regional Fundraising Team on 01506 655361 or email Lorna
