Donor recruitment volunteering

To ensure our clinics are successful, we always need committed volunteers to help our staff to plan and run them.
Phlebotomy
We require phlebotomists to assist at these clinics, supervised by our Phlebotomy Coordinator and Donor Recruitment Managers. Volunteers must hold a current phlebotomy qualification, have current Hepatitis B cover and regularly undertake phlebotomy duties with experience in using vacutainers.
‘Meet and Greet’ Volunteers
As potential registrants arrive at the clinic, ‘Meet and Greet’ volunteers would hand them their forms, provide general information, help provide refreshments and generally make registrants feel at ease.
Clinic Promotion
For a clinic to be successful, we work hard to raise levels of awareness amongst the local community. Prior to each clinic we need help to distribute posters and flyers.
Clinic Venues
Do you know a venue that we could use for a clinic? We conduct risk
assessments to consider the suitability of venues but we would appreciate your suggestions.
